Abstract: The article addresses the challenges of continuing training in statistics and probability concepts for teachers working in early childhood education and elementary school. The narrative takes place against a backdrop of the implementation of the National Common Core Curriculum and the document Criteria for Continuing Education for Curriculum Benchmarks aligned with the BNCC. It is initially considered that educational phenomena can be considered mass or collective, as classified by statistical science, because they cannot be defined by a simple analysis, or have a guiding document, more than that, a multiplicity of causes are needed to be able to formulate some information.
