DANÇA CIRCULAR SAGRADA: PERCEPÇÕES DE PARTICIPANTES DO GRUPO DE APOIO INTERDISCIPLINAR AO CÂNCER DE MAMA (GAICAM) DE SÃO CARLOS
O processo de saúde e cura de
patologias pode acarretar desconforto em
diversas esferas a seus portadores e um grupo
de apoio pode ser um recurso para aliviar as
tensões advindas deste percurso. O grupo de
apoio intitulado “Grupo de Apoio Interdisciplinar
ao Câncer de Mama (GAICAM)”, que fica
localizado na cidade de São Carlos/SP, promove
diversos tipos de vivências a mulheres pacientes
diagnosticadas com câncer de mama, para
justamente reabilitar e amenizar os conflitos
oriundos da doença. A Dança tem potencial
para ser um recurso auspicioso neste contexto,
pois ela tem um papel fundamental na produção
de cultura e expressão humana, permitindo o
reconhecimento do corpo e desenvolvimento de
vários fatores benéficos individuais e coletivos.
O projeto almejou perscrutar a percepção
de mulheres pertencentes ao GAICAM com
relação a Dança Circular Sagrada (DCS),
através de seus próprios relatos, concebidos
em entrevistas semiestruturadas

Abstract:
The process of health and cure
of pathologies can cause discomfort in several
spheres to their patients, and a support group
can be a resource to relieve the tensions coming
from this path. The support group entitled
"Interdisciplinary Breast Cancer Support Group
(GAICAM)", located in the city of São Carlos /
SP, promotes different types of experiences to
women patients diagnosed with breast cancer,
in order to rehabilitate and soften the conflicts
arising from the disease. The dance has the
potential to be an auspicious resource in this
context, as it plays a fundamental role in the
production of culture and human expression,
allowing the recognition of the body and the
development of various individual and collective
beneficial factors. This project is aimed to
examine the perception of women belonging to
GAICAM in relation to Sacred Circular Dance
(DCS), through their own reports, conceived in semi-structured interviews.
