CUIDADOS PALIATIVOS NA FONOAUDIOLOGIA: REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA
Introdução: a área de cuidados paliativos visa qualidade de vida ao paciente que apresenta alguma doença que não tenha prognóstico de cura. Objetivo: realizar revisão integrativa da literatura sobre os Cuidados Paliativos na área da Fonoaudiologia. Métodos: foi realizada busca considerando os descritores “Cuidados Paliativos” e “Fonoaudiologia¨. Resultados: dez estudos atenderam aos critérios de inclusão. Conclusão: a intervenção fonoaudiológica na área de Cuidados Paliativos ainda apresenta poucas evidências científicas, entretanto, pode-se identificar sua contribuição na melhoria da qualidade de vida do paciente.

Abstract:
Introduction: The area of palliative care aims at the quality of life of the patient who has a disease that has no prognosis for cure. Objective: Carry out an integrative review of the literature on Palliative Care in the field of Speech Therapy. Methods: a search performed was considering the descriptors “Palliative Care” and “Speech Therapy”. Results: ten studies met the inclusion criteria. Conclusion: Speech therapy in the area of Palliative Care, still has little scientific evidence, however, it is possible to identify its contribution to improving the quality of life of the patient.
