CONTROLE DE ÓBITOS DECORRENTES NA PANDEMIA COVID19 NAS UNIDADES DE UM HOSPITAL DE REFERÊNCIA NO ESTADO DA PARAÍBA
O primeiro caso no Brasil foi identificado no mês de fevereiro de 2020 no Estado de São Paulo, e o primeiro óbito em março do mesmo ano, no mesmo estado. As estimativas de progressão da epidemia são de crescimento exponencial. No contexto atual há um crescimento científico a respeito da pandemia, como também das taxa de óbitos mundial por COVID-19, desta forma a identificação do perfil de pacientes hospitalizados em Unidades de Terapia Intensiva é de extrema importância para facilitar o processo de assistência clínica a esses pacientes. Objetivo: Traçar o perfil dos óbitos por COVID19 que foram atendidos pela equipe de fisioterapia em uma Unidade de Terapia Intensiva de um hospital de referência do Estado da Paraíba. Métodos: O presente estudo se caracteriza do tipo descritivo documental, de natureza quantitativa, onde serão utilizados os dados dos pacientes com COVID-19 das UTIs de um hospital de referência. Resultados: Inclusão nas análises um total de 517 casos de óbitos, com idade média de 68.74. Desse total é observado que cerca de 38% corresponde ao gênero feminino e 61.7% ao gênero masculino. Considerações Finais: Dessa forma pode-se observar que no coorte, a média de idade foi por volta dos 68 anos, o gênero masculino teve um maior percentual nas intercorrências nas unidade de terapia intensiva, como também a Síndrome respiratória aguda grave (SRAG) foi um fator na alta taxa dos óbitos analisados, dessa corrobora com a sintomatalgia da doença, doenças cardiovasculares e metabólicas também apresentaram porcentagem significativa na frequência da mortalidade.

Abstract:
The first case in Brazil was identified in February 2020 in the State of São Paulo, and the first death in March of the same year, in the same state. Estimates of epidemic progression are of exponential growth. In the current context, there is a scientific growth regarding the pandemic, as well as the worldwide death rate from COVID-19, so the identification of the profile of patients hospitalized in Intensive Care Units is extremely important to facilitate the process of clinical care to these patients. Objective: To trace the profile of deaths from COVID19 that were attended by the physiotherapy team in an Intensive Care Unit of a reference hospital in the State of Paraíba. Methods: The present study is characterized by a descriptive documental type, of a quantitative nature, where data from patients with COVID-19 from the ICUs of a reference hospital will be used. Results: A total of 517 cases of death were included in the analyses, with a mean age of 68.74. Of this total, it is observed that approximately 38% corresponds to the female gender and 61.7% to the male gender. Final Considerations: Thus, it can be observed that in the cohort, the mean age was around 68 years, males had a higher percentage of complications in the intensive care unit, as well as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SRAG) was a factor in the high rate of deaths analyzed, this corroborates with the symptoms of the disease, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases also presented a significant percentage in the frequency of mortality.
