CONFECÇÃO DE MATERIAIS DIDÁTICOS ADAPTADOS SOBRE PROPRIEDADES ESPECÍFICAS DA MATÉRIA PARA ALUNOS COM DEFICIÊNCIA VISUAL
Com o desenvolvimento da educação inclusiva ao longo dos anos, percebeu-se um aumento na inserção de alunos com necessidades educacionais específicas na rede regular de ensino, incluindo entre eles, os alunos com deficiência visual. Nesse contexto, as instituições de ensino e todos que atuam nela, tornam-se responsáveis pela busca de alternativas metodológicas que possibilitem o processo de ensino-aprendizagem dos conteúdos escolares aos alunos cegos e com baixa visão. Ao se referir especificamente aos materiais didáticos adaptados de química para este público, percebeu-se que ainda há um grande déficit na quantidade e principalmente na qualidade desses materiais. A partir dessas inquietações, objetivou-se adaptar materiais didáticos sobre o conteúdo Propriedades Específicas da Matéria para alunos com deficiência visual. A produção do material foi organizada em dois volumes e o processo de confecção ocorreu na seguinte ordem: elaboração da parte textual, transcrição ao Sistema Braille, texturização de figuras, revisão, impressão e avaliação. As avaliações dos materiais foram realizadas por dois revisores cegos e oito alunos do Instituto Benjamin Constant (IBC). Os materiais foram aprovados e atualmente encontram-se disponíveis para replicação na Divisão de Desenvolvimento e Produção de Material Especializado (DPME), podendo ser solicitados por instituições públicas de ensino que atendam alunos cegos ou com baixa visão.

Abstract:
With the development of inclusive education over the years, there has been an increase in the inclusion of students with specific educational needs in the regular school system, including among them, the students with visual impairment. In this context, educational institutions and all those who work in it, become responsible for the search for methodological alternatives, which enable the teaching-learning process of school contents to blind and low vision students. When referring specifically to didactic materials adapted from chemistry for this audience, it was noticed that there is a great deficit in quantity and especially in the quality of these materials. Based on these trouble, the aim was to adapt teaching materials on the content Specific Properties of Matter for students with visual impairment. The material production was organized in two volumes and the preparation process happened in the following order: textual preparation, Braille System transcription, texturing of figures, revision, printing and evaluation. The evaluations of the materials were carried out by two blind reviewers and eight students of the Instituto Benjamin Constant (IBC). The materials have been approved and are currently available for replication at the Divisão de Desenvolvimento e Produção de Material Especializado (DPME), which can be requested by public educational institutions that serve blind or low vision students.
