COMPREENSÃO DO ESPAÇO GEOGRÁFICO POR ATORES DO TURISMO: ESTUDO DE CASO COM ALUNOS DA UNESP – CAMPUS DE ROSANA
Este trabalho teve por objetivo
analisar através de mapas construídos por
estudantes a relação deles com o espaço vivido.
A metodologia utilizada para atingir o objetivo
foi a análise de mapas mentais construídos a
partir do caminho percorrido pelos estudantes
de suas casas até a Unesp. Os resultados
preliminares indicam que os alunos se atêm
mais aos detalhes quando iniciam o curso do
que quando já estão há algum tempo vivendo
na cidade, porém tem bom senso de orientação
espacial, destacando os elementos realmente
relevantes para o traçado cotidiano dos
estudantes. Tais elementos são importantes
para que o turismólogo possa contribuir de
maneira significativa na elaboração de mapas e
roteiros turísticos no futuro.

Abstract:
This work had as objective to
analyze through maps constructed by students
the relation of them with the space lived. The
methodology used to reach the objective was
the analysis of mental maps constructed from
the path traveled by students from their homes
to Unesp. Preliminary results indicate that
students are more attentive to details when they
start the course than when they have been living
in the city for some time, but they have a better
spatial orientation, highlighting the elements that
are really relevant to students’ daily routines.
Such elements are important so that the tourist
planner can contribute in a significant way in the
elaboration of maps and tourist itineraries in the
future.
