Algumas dificuldades dos estudantes

permanecem persistentes na capacidade de

realizar operações numéricas e por isto nos

remetemos ao estudo do ensino de números no

Ensino Fundamental. Apontamos a necessidade

de melhor compreensão das características do

Sistema de Numeração Decimal, destacando

a composição e decomposição do número,

os diversos significados do valor posicional, a

organização dos números decimais como foco

para melhor ensinar e aprender as operações

básicas e sua utilização social.

Abstract:
Some difficulties of the students

remain persistent in the ability to perform numerical operations and for this we refer our

study of the teaching of numbers in Elementary

School. We point out the need for a better

understanding of the characteristics of the

Decimal Numbering System, highlighting the

composition and decomposition of the number,

the various meanings of the positional value,

the organization of decimal numbers as a

focus for better teaching and learning the basic

operations and their social use
