COMPETÊNCIAS SOCIOEMOCIONAIS DE ALUNOS DO 4º AO 9º ANO DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL NA PANDEMIA DO CORONAVÍRUS
O objetivo deste artigo foi investigar as competências socioemocionais de alunos do 4º ao 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental e sua relação com a aprendizagem no período pandêmico. A pesquisa foi do tipo Survey, de abordagem quantitativa e de caráter descritivo. A amostra foi composta por 855 alunos do 4º ao 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental da Rede Municipal de Ensino de uma cidade da Região Centro-sul do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. O instrumento da pesquisa foi um questionário composto por 16 questões de perguntas fechadas com respostas dicotômicas de “sim/não”. A análise dos dados foi feita pelas ferramentas do Google Forms por meio da emissão de gráficos. Dentre os principais resultados, os alunos investigados demonstraram certa dificuldade com as relações interpessoais e afetivas vinculadas a percepção de suas emoções e a dos outros. Por outro lado, as competências socioemocionais como a cooperação e empatia surgiram positivamente entre os alunos. Ademais, os escolares relataram ter dificuldade de aprender com o ensino remoto. Concluímos ser importante continuar desenvolvendo com os estudantes as habilidades como a empatia, cooperação e o respeito às diferenças durante a pandemia, devendo as secretarias de educação, professores, responsáveis e comunidade como um todo criar meios e estratégias para se mitigar as dificuldades com o ensino remoto.

Abstract:
The aim of this article was to investigate the socio-emotional skills of students from 4th to 9th grade of elementary school and their relationship with learning in the pandemic period. The research was of the Survey type, with a quantitative approach and a descriptive character. The sample consisted of 855 students from the 4th to 9th grade of Elementary School of the Municipal Education Network in a city in the Center-South region of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The instrument of the study was a questionnaire composed of 16 closed-ended questions with dichotomous “yes/no” answers. Among the main results, the investigated students demonstrated some difficulty with interpersonal and affective relationships linked to the perception of their emotions and those of others. On the other hand, socio-emotional skills such as cooperation and empathy emerged positively among students. Furthermore, the students reported having difficulty learning with the remote learning. We conclude that it is important to continue developing with students skills such as empathy, cooperation and respect for differences during the pandemic, should the education departments, teachers, guardians and the community as a whole must create means and strategies to mitigate difficulties with the remote learning.
