COBERTURA VACINAL CONTRA COVID-19: UMA ANÁLISE SOBRE A TAXA DE ADESÃO DOS EDUCANDOS DE 12 A 17 ANOS
O novo coranavírus 2019 representa um dos maiores desafios de saúde global deste século, fato esse que gerou e ainda vem gerando grandes impactos econômicos, políticos e sociais. Na tentativa de conter o avanço da pandemia e a disseminação do vírus a comunidade cientifica se mobilizou para encontrar uma vacina eficaz e no final ano de 2020 a vacinação contra Covid-19 foi iniciada. Considerando que é necessário alcançar uma grande cobertura vacinal para garantir os benefícios da vacinação e que os grupos antivacinas têm ganhado cada vez mais adeptos, o presente artigo possui o objetivo de estimar a cobertura vacinal contra Covid-19 dos educandos de 12 a 17 anos em três escolas de Cachoeiro de Itapemirim/ES, bem como identificar os motivos da não adesão a essa prática preventiva. Os dados da amostra foram coletados através de questionários aplicados na sala de aula em três escolas, sendo uma particular, uma municipal e uma estadual. No total foram respondidos 265 questionários e após a ponderação dos dados, foi possível constatar que 93,58% dos educandos tomaram a 1ª dose da vacina e que 98,79% pretendem tomar a 2ª dose. Em relação à prevalência de hesitação vacinal 88,23% eram educandos do sexo masculino e o principal motivo foi o fato dos mesmos não se sentirem seguros para tomar a vacina.

Abstract:
The new 2019 coranavirus represents one of the greatest global health challenges of this century, a fact that has generated and is still generating great economic, political and social impacts. In an attempt to contain the advance of the pandemic and the spread of the virus, the scientific community mobilized to find an effective vaccine and, in the end of 2020, vaccination against Covid-19 was started. Considering that it is necessary to achieve a great vaccination coverage to guarantee the benefits of vaccination and that the anti-vaccination groups are becoming more and more adherents, this article aims to estimate the vaccination coverage against Covid-19 of students aged 12 to 17 in three schools in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim/ES, as well as identifying the reasons for non-adherence to this preventive practice. Sample data were collected through questionnaires applied in the classroom in three schools, one private, one municipal and one state. A total of 265 questionnaires were answered and after weighing the data, it was possible to verify that 93,58% of the students took the 1st dose of the vaccine and that 98,79% intended to take the 2nd dose. Regarding the prevalence of vaccine hesitation, 88,23% were male students and the main reason was the fact that they did not feel safe to take the vaccine.
