CENTRO DE SAÚDE DO IDOSO DE BLUMENAU/SC: UMA EXPERIÊNCIA MULTIPROFISSIONAL DE TRABALHO INTERDISCIPLINAR
A população brasileira está
num processo de transição demográfica
e consequente mudança epidemiológica,
representada pelo aumento de pessoas
idosas e a redução da população jovem.
Logo, percebeu-se a necessidade de
implementar políticas públicas voltadas para o
envelhecimento, estimulando o envelhecimento
saudável, a promoção de saúde, programas de
reabilitação e apoio aos cuidadores informais.
Iniciou-se com a Política Nacional da Pessoa
Idosa, levando os estados a providenciarem as
Políticas Estaduais e os municípios a criarem
as Política Municipais em consonância com o
que foi apresentado pelo Governo Federal. No
município de Blumenau a partir da formulação
da política, observou-se a necessidade da
criação de uma equipe multiprofissional
visando o atendimento da população de idosos
fragilizados e seus cuidadores, essa iniciativa
evoluiu para a inauguração do Centro de Saúde
do Idoso, um centro de atenção especializada
na saúde do idoso. A equipe atende de forma
interdisciplinar com foco nas expectativas
trazidas pelos idosos, seus cuidadores e da
equipe de saúde. A equipe atua também em
conjunto com a atenção básica e outros serviços
através de reuniões de rede e matriciamento
virtual. O Centro de Saúde do Idoso está em
constante evolução sempre buscando o melhor
atendimento a população idosa do município,
amadurecendo enquanto equipe dentro do
serviço e enquanto serviço dentro da rede de
assistência à saúde no município.

Abstract:
The Brazilian population is
in a process of demographic transition
and consequent epidemiological change,
represented by the increase of elderly people
and the reduction of the young population.
Therefore, it was perceived the need to
implement public policies aimed at aging,
stimulating healthy aging, health promotion,
rehabilitation programs and support for informal
caregivers. It began with the national policy
of the elderly, leading the states to provide
the State policies and municipalities to create
the municipal policy in line with what was
presented by the Federal government. In the
municipality of Blumenau from the formulation
of the policy, it was observed the need to create
a multidisciplinary team aiming to care for the

population of frail elderly and their caregivers, this initiative evolved to the inauguration
of the Centro de Saúde do Idoso, a center of attention specialized in the health of the
elderly. The team attends in an interdisciplinary way with a focus on the expectations
brought by the elderly, their caregivers and the health team. The team also acts in
conjunction with primary care and other services through network meetings and virtual
matricial. The Centro de Saúde do Idoso is constantly evolving, always seeking the
best care for the elderly population of the city, maturing as a team within the service
and as a service within the health care network in the city.
