CELERIDADE PROCESSUAL: BREVES COMENTÁRIOS À LUZ DO DIREITO COMPARADO
Há tempos se discute sobre o tempo necessário para alcançar o trânsito em julgado de um processo. Diante de tal preocupação, ressalta-se a existência do Princípio da Razoável Duração do Processo, previsto no artigo 5º, inciso LXXVII, da Magna Carta. Neste impasse, o novo Código de Processo Civil deixou a desejar, visto a falta de inovação. Dessa forma, na presente obra trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, qualitativa e documental, tendo como objetivo: analisar a evolução histórica do Processo Civil no Brasil, o qual sofreu forte influência de códigos adotados em países europeus, coletar e examinar os principais dados referentes a celeridade da Justiça brasileira fornecidos anualmente, desde da presente década, pelo Conselho Nacional de Justiça - CNJ, e posteriormente, compará-los com dados de outros países, a fim de buscar instrumentos e metas para otimizar celeridade dos processos em âmbito nacional.

Abstract:
There are times when it is discussed about the time needed to reach a final decision on a lawsuit. In the face of concern, it is worth mentioning the Principle of the Reasonable Duration of the process, provided for in article 5º item LXXVII, of the Magna Carta. This impasse, or new Code of Civil Procedure left a desire, seen a lack of innovation. Thus, the present work is a descriptive, qualitative and documentary research, aiming to analyze the evolution of the Civil Process in Brazil, to collect and examine the main data regarding the speed of justice been provided annually since the present decade by the National Justice Council - CNJ, and later, compared to data from other countries, in order to look for instruments to optimize the speed of processes at the national level.
