CARCINOMA POUCO DIFERENCIADO DE CÉLULAS EM ANEL DE SINETE EM PAPILA DUODENAL: UM RELATO DE CASO
As neoplasias da papila duodenal
são raras entre os tumores periampulares,
correspondendo a 5-10% dessa classe e
representam 0,2% de todas as malignidades
gastrointestinais. Dentro dessa categoria, o
carcinoma pouco diferenciado de células em
anel de sinete é um tipo histológico raro, e
poucos casos são encontrados descritos na
literatura. Em 80% dos casos, os pacientes
apresentam a icterícia intermitente como
sintoma predominante. O tratamento padrão é a
duodenopancreatectomia. Apesar de sua baixa
incidência, o conhecimento médico e acadêmico
acerca da patologia, o diagnóstico precoce, a
clínica e o tratamento cirúrgico adequados são
importantes para aumentar consideravelmente
a sobrevida de pacientes com essa neoplasia

Abstract:
The papillary neoplasms are rare
among periampular tumors, corresponding to
5-10% of this class and represents 0,2% of
all gastrointestinal malignancies. Within this
category, the poorly differentiated signet ring cell
carcinoma is a rare histological type, and few
cases are described in the literature. In 80% of
the cases, patients present intermittent jaundice
as the main symptom. The standard treatment
is duodenopancreatectomy. Despite its low
incidence, the medical and academic knowledge
about the disease, early diagnosis, presentation
and the appropriate surgical treatment are
important in order to considerably increase the
survival of patients with this neoplasm.
