CARCINOMA DE TIREOIDE PAPILÍFERO AVANÇADO RAI- REFRATÁRIO: UMA DAS PRIMEIRAS PACIENTES A UTILIZAR LENVATINIB NO PAÍS, RELATO DE CASO
RESUMO:
INTRODUÇÃO: O câncer de tireoide representa o quinto tumor mais frequente em mulheres, aproximadamente 10 a 20% dos carcinomas diferenciados de tireoide (CDT) desenvolvem metástases, a falha ao tratamento com iodoterapia ocorre em 50% dos casos. O advento da terapia com antitirosinoquinases (TKIs) levou a uma mudança radical no padrão de tratamento do CDT. OBJETIVOS: Relatar um caso de CDT metastático rai- refratário, cuja paciente é uma das primeiras a utilizar Lenvatinib no país. CONCLUSÕES: Com o tratamento, a paciente em vigência da doença metastática e politratada, quatro linhas de tratamento sistêmico incluindo TKIs, apresentou taxa de resposta condizente aos dados literários, diminuição significativa de marcadores bioquímicos e toxicidade manejável.

ABSTRACT:
INTRODUCTION: Thyroid cancer represents the most common tumor in women, approximately 10 to 20% of differentiated thyroid carcinomas (DTC) develop metastases, failure in treatment with iodine occurs in 50% of cases. The advent of Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors (TKIs) has undergone a radical change in the pattern of treatment for DTC. OBJECTIVES: To report a case of Rai- refractory metastatic DTC, Whose patient is one of the first to use Lenvatinib in the country. CONCLUSIONS: With treatment, a patient under surveillance for metastatic diseases and multiple treatment line, exhibited response rates consistent with literary data, decreasing biochemical markers and manageable toxicity.
