Abstract: ABSTRACT: The presence of calcification in the pulp chamber and/or root canal occurs due to the deposition of concentric mineralized layers in the pulp connective tissue, which may lead to its narrowing or obliteration, with therapeutic implications. This study aimed to analyze and discuss pulp calcifications, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis and endodontic treatment options as described in the literature. The review includes articles published between 2020 and 2025, retrieved from the electronic databases PubMed, SciELO, and Google Scholar. Data were extracted considering clinical and radiographic aspects relevant to diagnosis and therapeutic interventions. A bibliographic analysis of 12 articles revealed that calcifications can occur in healthy or carious teeth, varying in size and shape, with a higher prevalence in molars and a greater association with aging. Diagnosis involves clinical and radiographic examinations, with an emphasis on cone-beam computed tomography. Treatment can be conservative, such as bleaching, or more complex, such as guided endodontics, depending on the severity of calcification. This study emphasizes the importance of an accurate diagnosis in selecting the best treatment, preventing future complications, and ensuring the patient’s oral health.
