BULLYING, IDENTIDADE E DIREITOS HUMANOS NO CONTEXTO ESCOLAR
Esse artigo apresenta os resultados
da pesquisa sobre bullying e violação dos
direitos humanos no contexto do Instituto
Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia
de Mato Grosso Campus Avançado Sinop
(IFMT Campus Avançado Sinop), constituindo-
se como parte específica de um estudo
mais amplo sobre o fenômeno do bullying
coordenado pela Profa. Dra. Raquel Martins
Fernandes, no âmbito do Grupo de Pesquisa
em Humanidades e Sociedade Contemporânea
do IFMT (GPHSC-IFMT), com o título “Violação
dos Direitos Humanos e Bullying no contexto
escolar: diagnóstico e proposta de intervenção
com base no empoderamento do alunos”. A
maior parte dos dados foram coletados através
do questionário “Violação dos Direitos Humanos
e Bullying”. Responderam ao questionário 117
alunos, do 1o e do 2o ano do Ensino Médio, de
idades entre 14 e 17 anos. Também se utilizou
da observação direta do comportamento dos
alunos em suas interações cotidianas no
ambiente escolar como instrumento de coleta
de informações. Sobre a questão dos direitos
humanos, procuramos enfocar aspectos de
sua violação no âmbito escolar, sob a forma
de relações de desrespeito e maus-tratos entre
os alunos, e seus reflexos sobre o processo
de construção de identidades e diferenças no
contexto escolar. Aborda-se também nesse
artigo a responsabilidade do sistema escolar na
construção de uma cultura dos direitos humanos,
de respeito às diferenças e de reconhecimento
da dignidade inerente à particularidade cada
ser humano.

Abstract:
This article presents the results
of research on bullying and violation of human
rights in the context of the Federal Institute
of Education, Science and Technology of
Mato Grosso Advanced Campus Sinop (IFMT
Advanced Campus Sinop), constituting as a
specific part of a more detailed study. about
the phenomenon of bullying coordinated by
Profa. Dr. Raquel Martins Fernandes, within
the IFMT Research Group on Humanities and
Contemporary Society (GPHSC-IFMT), entitled
“Violation of Human Rights and Bullying in
the School Context: Diagnosis and Proposed
Intervention Based on the Empowerment of
students ”. Most of the data were collected
through the “Human Rights Violation and
Bullying” questionnaire. A total of 117 students,
from the 1st and 2nd year of high school, aged between 14 and 17 years answered
the questionnaire. It was also used the direct observation of students’ behavior in their
daily interactions in the school environment as an instrument for collecting information.
On the issue of human rights, we seek to focus on aspects of their violation in the
school environment, in the form of disrespectful relationships and mistreatment among
students, and their reflections on the process of building identities and differences in
the school context. This article also addresses the responsibility of the school system in
building a culture of human rights, respect for differences and recognition of the dignity
inherent in the particularity of each human being.
