BIBLIOTECA INCLUSIVA: MEDIAÇÃO COM O USUÁRIO SURDO
Este trabalho aborda a inclusão social
do indivíduo deficiente auditivo no ambiente
da biblioteca e também como o profissional
da informação, o bibliotecário, pode ser o
mediador da informação de usuários ouvintes
e não-ouvintes. A pesquisa objetivou investigar
as necessidades para a mediação com os
deficientes auditivos em bibliotecas visando
colaborar com o desenvolvimento da noção
de biblioteca inclusiva. E, especificamente,
compreender os conceitos de inclusão social;
discutir a noção de biblioteca inclusiva e entender
a mediação com os deficientes auditivos em
bibliotecas e quais as necessidades para
realizá-la.

Abstract:
This work addresses the social
inclusion of deaf individuals in the library
environment as well as the information
professional, librarian, may be the mediator
of information users listeners and nonlisteners.
The research aimed to investigate
the requirements for mediation with the hearing
impaired in libraries aimed at supporting the
development of the concept of inclusive library.
And, specifically, understanding the concepts of
social inclusion; discuss the notion of inclusive
library and understand the mediation with the
hearing impaired in libraries and what needs to
realize it.
