BENEFÍCIOS DA EDUCAÇÃO EM SAÚDE PARA PACIENTES HIPERTENSOS: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
RESUMO: Convivemos hoje com uma maior expectativa de vida devido à diminuição da taxa de natalidade e uma melhor qualidade de vida, sendo assim um aumento da população idosa e consequentemente uma diminuição da população jovem. Elevação essa que faz com que o número de doenças crônicas não transmissíveis (DCNT) onde se encaixa a Hipertensão Arterial Sistêmica (HAS) aumente. Trata-se de um estudo do tipo relato de experiência como objetivo de apresentar a vivência de Acadêmicos de Enfermagem frente a uma Educação em Saúde a pacientes hipertensos através de atividades ativas e participativas expondo o tema: Os cuidados com a Hipertensão Arterial. Foi possível realizar a sensibilização dos pacientes acerca dos cuidados referentes ao controle e manejo da pressão arterial adotando a prática de atividade física e hábitos alimentares saudáveis, pois foi possível concluir que muitos dos participantes não seguem um estilo de vida adequado para garantir uma qualidade de vida a um portador de hipertensão arterial sistêmica.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT: Today, we live with a higher life expectancy due to the decrease in the birth rate and a better quality of life, which means an increase in the elderly population and, consequently, a decrease in the young population. This elevation causes the number of chronic non-communicable diseases (CNCDs) where Systemic Arterial Hypertension (SAH) fits to increase. This is an experience report-type study with the objective of reporting the experience of Nursing Academics facing Health Education to hypertensive patients through active and participatory activities exposing the theme: Care with Arterial Hypertension. It was possible to raise the awareness of patients about care regarding the control and management of blood pressure by adopting the practices of physical activity and adequate eating habits, as it was possible to conclude that many of the participants do not follow a correct management of a healthy lifestyle to ensure a quality of life for patients with systemic arterial hypertension.
