AVALIAÇÃO DO GRAU DE INCAPACIDADE EM MOTORISTAS DE ÔNIBUS A PARTIR DO MÉTODO VERONESI E SUA CORRELAÇÃO COM O TEMPO DE PROFISSÃO
Os problemas musculoesqueléticos em motoristas de ônibus estão diretamente relacionados as suas condições de trabalho, que são responsáveis também pela incapacidade funcional nessa classe de trabalhadores. As exigências de trabalho aos quais são expostos, os levam a apresentar diversos problemas de saúde com perda da sua capacidade funcional. Devido a isso, o objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o grau de incapacidade em motoristas de ônibus a partir do método Veronesi e sua correlação com o tempo de profissão. Para a realização da pesquisa foram selecionados 15 motoristas de ônibus, do sexo masculino, da empresa de transportes urbanos Nossa Senhora do Carmo da cidade de Santarém – PA, sendo realizada a avaliação fisioterapêutica através da planilha de capacidade funcional – método Veronesi. De acordo com a interpretação da capacidade funcional, em relação aos graus de incapacidade, dentre os 15 motoristas que participaram do estudo, 2 motoristas (13,33%) apresentaram 25% de incapacidade, 2 (13,33%) apresentaram 50% de incapacidade e 11 motoristas (73,34%) apresentaram 100% de capacidade. E em relação ao tempo de profissão, apenas 4 apresentaram graus de incapacidade, o que tinha 20 anos de profissão apresentou 25% de incapacidade, com 15 anos 50% de incapacidade, com 6 anos 25% de incapacidade e com 1 ano 50% de incapacidade.

Abstract:
Musculoskeletal problems in bus drivers are directly related to their working conditions, which are also responsible for the functional incapacity in this class of workers. The job requirements to which they are exposed to, lead them to develop several health problems along with loss of their functional capacity. Due to that, the objective of this study was to evaluate the degree of disability in bus drivers using the Veronesi method and its correlation with the time of profession. To carry out the research, 15 male bus drivers, from the urban transport company, Nossa Senhora do Carmo from Santarém – PA were selected, with the physiotherapeutic evaluation being performed through the functional capacity worksheet - Veronesi method. According to the interpretation of the functional capacity, in relation to the degrees of disability, among the 15 drivers who participated in the study, 2 drivers (13.33%) presented a 25% disability, 2 (13.33%) had 50% disability and 11 drivers (73.34%) had 100% capacity. And, regarding to the time of profession, only 4 of them showed some degrees of disability, the one who had 20 years of profession presented 25% of disability, the one with 15 years 50% of disability, the one with 6 years 25% of disability and the one with 1 year 50% of disability.
