AVALIAÇÃO DA UTILIZAÇÃO DE ADUBAÇÕES NITROGENADAS NO CULTIVO DE HORTELÃ VISANDO O APERFEIÇOAMENTO DE SEU SISTEMA PRODUTIVO
O cultivo de plantas medicinais
com a finalidade de cura de algumas doenças
já existe há vários anos, tendo em vista o
menor tempo para se chegar ao produto final
que a planta medicinal oferece, a praticidade
e principalmente, o baixo custo, sendo dessa
forma acessível a todas as classes sociais.
É neste contexto que a Hortelã se destaca
como uma importante planta para utilização na
fitoterapia. A Mentha sp assim como algumas
outras plantas é uma fonte promissora de
antioxidante natural. Foi com o intuito de buscar
mais informações sobre a produção em escala
comercial de plantas medicinais que está
pesquisa foi realizada, onde teve como objetivo
analisar a produção de biomassa vegetal. O
projeto foi desenvolvido na fazenda Biotec, no
Centro Universitário de Maringá – Unicesumar,
localizada no município de Maringá-PR, o
delineamento foi inteiramente casualizados
com 15 repetições para cada tratamento.
Concluiu-se que a planta medicinal Hortelã
responde significativamente ao fornecimento
de adubações, gerando um aumento de
produtividade das plantas e que realizar
adubações durante o cultivo de Hortelã é uma
alternativa interessante para o produtor visando
atender em escala comercial a demanda por
compostos fitoterápicos.

Abstract:
The cultivation of medicinal plants
for the purpose of curing some diseases has
existed for several years, taking into account
the shortest time to reach the final product that
the medicinal plant offers, the practicality and
especially the low cost, and is thus accessible
to all social classes. It is in this context that the
Hortelã stands out as an important plant for use
in phytotherapy. Mentha sp as well as some
other plants is a promising source of natural
antioxidant. It was with the intention of seeking
more information on the commercial scale
production of medicinal plants that this research
was carried out, where it had as objective to
analyze the production of vegetal biomass. The
project was developed at the Biotec farm, in the
University Center of Maringá - Unicesumar, located in the municipality of Maringá-
PR, the design was completely randomized with 15 replicates for each treatment. It
was concluded that the medicinal plant Hortelã responds significantly to the supply
of fertilizers, generating an increase of productivity of the plants and that to make
fertilizations during the cultivation of Hortelã is an interesting alternative for the producer
aiming to meet on a commercial scale the demand for phytotherapeutic compounds.
