AVALIAÇÃO DA COMPREENSÃO DAS ESTUDANTES DO INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE GOIÁS – CAMPUS FORMOSA SOBRE ENDOMETRIOSE
A endometriose é uma doença que se caracteriza pelo fato do tecido endometrial se encontrar fora da cavidade uterina. Ela também apresenta formações glandulares ou estromais e endometriomas fora do endométrio, além de ter etiologia desconhecida. Aproximadamente 10 a 15% das mulheres em idade reprodutiva são atingidas pela doença e apresenta cerca de 20 a 50% de influência sobre a infertilidade em pacientes diagnosticadas com essa patologia. É uma doença que está em alto crescimento ultimamente, principalmente em adolescentes, pois pouco se é falado sobre a endometriose, o que não gera tanta preocupação quando os sintomas começam a aparecer. Esta pesquisa foi realizada com o intuito de analisar o nível de conhecimento sobre endometriose das estudantes do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Goiás, Campus Formosa (GO), bem como, fornecer abordagens sobre o tema no local. A partir dos resultados obtidos, é perceptível o baixo nível de conhecimento das discentes da instituição acerca de um assunto tão relevante para a saúde da mulher e seu bem-estar.

It also presents glandular or stromal formations and endometriomas outside the endometrium, in addition to having unknown etiology. Approximately 10 to 15% of women of reproductive age are affected by the disease and has about 20 to 50% of influence on infertility in patients diagnosed with this pathology. It is a disease that has been in high growth lately, especially in adolescents, because little is said about endometriosis, which does not generate as much concern when the symptoms begin to appear. This research was carried out with the aim of analyzing the level of knowledge about endometriosis of the students of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goiás, Campus Formosa (GO), as well as to provide approaches on the subject in the field. From the obtained results, the low level of knowledge of the students of the institution about a subject so relevant for the woman's health and well-being is perceptible.
