AUMENTO DE COROA CLÍNICA ESTÉTICA E REANATOMIZAÇÃO DENTÁRIA COM RESINA COMPOSTA: RELATO DE CASO CLÍNICO
O desejo por um sorriso perfeito tem
se tornado cada vez maior, sendo um grande
desafio para o cirurgião-dentista atender às
exigências estéticas de cada paciente. A
Periodontia aliada à Dentística restauradora
são capazes de tornar um sorriso harmonioso
aproximando-o do padrão de beleza almejado
pelo paciente. Dessa forma, este trabalho tem
como objetivo relatar um caso clínico no qual uma
desarmonia gengival e dentária foi observada e
tratada. Clinicamente no dente 11 foi constatada
fratura horizontal no nível do terço médio, e o
contorno gengival apresentava-se com posição
alterada em relação aos demais dentes. O
tratamento proposto foi um aumento de coroa
clínica estética e posterior reabilitação com
resina composta. O aumento de coroa clínica
é uma das técnicas cirúrgicas da periodontia,
e é classificada como cirurgia ressectiva, em
que há a remoção de uma faixa de gengiva. O
procedimento restaurador foi realizado cerca
de 60 dias após o procedimento cirúrgico. O
sucesso do tratamento está relacionado com o
diagnóstico e o plano de tratamento adequado,
levando em consideração a perspectiva e a
exigência do paciente. Assim, este trabalho
nos mostra a importância de um planejamento
e conhecimento adequados e integrados, para
que o procedimento possa ser realizado visando
à satisfação do paciente.

Abstract:
The desire for a perfect smile has
become increasing greater and proving to be a
challenge for the dental surgeons to meet the
aesthetic requirements of each patient. The
Periodontics allied to Restorative Dentistry, is
able to make a harmonious smile come close
to the standard desired by the patient. Thus,
this paper aims to report a clinical case in which
a gum and dental disharmony was observed
and treated. Clinically on tooth 11, a horizontal
fracture was observed at the middle third level,
and the gum contour was altered in relation to
the other teeth. The proposed treatment was an
increase of aesthetic clinical crown and posterior
rehabilitation with composite resin. The increase
of clinical crown is one of the surgical techniques
of the Periodontics, and is classified as resective
surgery, in which there is the removal of a strip of
gum. The restorative procedure was performed approximately 60 days after the surgical
procedure. The success of the treatment is related to the diagnosis and the appropriate
treatment plan, taking into account the perspective and the requirement of the patient.
Thus, this work shows us the importance of adequate and integrated planning and
knowledge, so that the procedure can be performed aiming at patient satisfaction.
