ATUALIZANDO A ENFERMAGEM: RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA NO TREINAMENTO DOS PROFISSIONAIS DE ENFERMAGEM NA CLÍNICA PEDIÁTRICA
As mudanças e o avanço de novas tecnologias estão presentes na área da saúde, tornando-se mais evidente a necessidade de educação no ambiente dos trabalhadores dessa área, pois o trabalho baseia-se na atuação profissional pautada no conhecimento e desenvolvimento de competências e habilidades para tomada de decisões. A educação permanente é uma ferramenta essencial que tem buscado, suprir a defasagem na formação e na preparação dos profissionais, com a finalidade de melhorar o desempenho profissional. Ciente dessa importância, o projeto de iniciação científica “Atualizando a Enfermagem” objetivou promover encontros semanais com os profissionais da área da enfermagem em um Hospital Regional localizado na cidade de Mossoró/RN, visando proporcionar a capacitação na modalidade “in locus” para a equipe de enfermagem, com várias temáticas. Esse artigo objetiva relatar a experiência de capacitação “in locus” ofertada aos profissionais da enfermagem atuantes na clínica pediátrica de um Hospital regional de Urgência sobre a desobstrução de vias aéreas por corpo estranho na criança. As ações ocorreram por meio do ensino e treinamento utilizando manequins pediátricos para realizar as manobras de desobstrução, o tema foi praticado juntamente com a equipe de plantonista na clínica pediátrica do referido hospital, que mostraram boa adesão destes ao participarem do encontro e das práticas. A ação educativa contribuiu para o aumento do conhecimento e capacidade entre os profissionais e acompanhantes da unidade de pediatria. Assim, proporcionar educação continuada e permanente para dentro do ambiente de trabalho é uma pratica essencial para que informações e atualizações consigam alcançar o maior número de profissionais possíveis, a observação da realidade faz com que possamos entender o quanto se faz necessárias ações de capacitação constante e quando se trata da desobstrução de vias aéreas, a agilidade e a rapidez são fatores primordiais para evitar maiores danos a vítima.

Abstract:
Changes and advances in new technologies are present in the health area, making the need for education in the environment of workers in this area more evident, since the work has been based on professional performance based on knowledge and the development of skills and abilities for decision making. Continuing education is an essential tool that has sought to fill the gap in the training and preparation of professionals, with the aim of improving professional performance. The scientific initiation project "PROICE - Updating Nursing" aims to promote weekly meetings with nursing professionals at the Hospital Regional, located in the city of Mossoró/RN, aiming to provide training "in locus" for the nursing team. Among the themes proposed during the meetings, one of them addressed the topic of airway clearance by a foreign body in children. Where the objective was to identify through training to assess the level of theoretical and practical knowledge of nursing professionals working in the pediatric clinic of the regional hospital of urgency and emergency on the theme airway obstruction. Our teaching methodology aimed to conduct a training using dolls to perform the clearing maneuvers, the theme under discussion was practiced together with the pediatric on-duty team (Pediatric Clinic), as well as with parents and/or family members, showing a good family members adherence to participate in the meeting and practices. However, a gap has arisen on the part of nursing professionals in the search for knowledge, which makes assistance very difficult and unsatisfactory. Thus, the findings of this intervention showed that the educational action through the simulation of identification and management of airway obstruction contributed to the increase in knowledge and capacity among professionals and companions in the pediatric unit, when compared to the findings before the intervention. Therefore, it is concluded that bringing updating into the work environment is an essential practice so that information and updates are able to reach the largest number of professionals possible, observing reality makes it possible for us to understand how much constant and necessary training actions are necessary when it comes to airway obstruction, agility and speed are key factors to prevent further damage to the victim.
