ATUAÇÃO FONOAUDIOLÓGICA NO MANEJO DA DISFAGIA OROFARÍNGEA NA ERA COVID-19
RESUMO: Objetivo: Compreender como se dá a atuação fonoaudiológica no manejo e tratamento da disfagia orofaríngea em pacientes positivados para a COVID-19. Método: O presente estudo consiste em uma revisão integrativa e exploratória da literatura cientifíca, com artigos localizados nas bases de dados da Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS), Public Medline (PUBMED) e Google Acadêmico, no ano de 2020, início da pandemia da SARS-CoV-2, todos com relação direta a temática estudada. Conclusão: A reabilitação fonoaudiológica é essencial e de extrema importância para os indivíduos acometidos pela COVID-19, principalmente o processo de extubação, minimizando assim as possíveis sequelas no processo da deglutição.

Abstract:
Objective: To understand how speech therapy works in the management and treatment of oropharyngeal dysphagia in patients positive for COVID-19. Method: This study consists of an integrative and exploratory review of scientific literature, with articles located in the databases of the Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), Virtual Health Library (VHL), Public Medline (PUBMED) and Google Scholar, in the year 2020, beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, all with direct relation to the theme studied. Conclusion: Speech therapy rehabilitation is essential and extremely important for individuals affected by COVID-19, especially the extubation process, minimizing possible sequels in the swallowing process.
