ATUAÇÃO DO PROJETO “A.B.C NA SAÚDE” NA COMUNIDADE

• Abstract: The project A.B.C. na Sau- Basic reception of the community in health - was designed in 2020 in view of the needs perceived during the pandemic and the perception that students could combine knowledge with solidarity. Thus, only in 2022, with the full normalization of face-to-face activities, the project was put forward with the intention of impacting as many people as possible in the Trapiche neighborhood, located in Maceió- AL, in the vicinity of the State University of Health Sciences of Alagoas. Thus, in addition to the theoretical training that materializes one of the fundamental parts of the academic tripod based on teaching, research and extension, the project carried out actions with the community, combining information with intervention and, in this way, planting a seed to be harvested in the future. These actions ranged from donating food to participating in a science fair involving public high school students, also including donating sanitary pads, raising awareness about endemic diseases, visiting a nursing home and attending a conference university.
