ATUAÇÃO DO FARMACÊUTICO CLÍNICO EM UTI PEDIÁTRICA
A prática clínica do farmacêutico nos hospitais vem se expandindo e mostrando resultados positivos com a minimização de erros e auxílio à equipe multiprofissional. Diante disto, o objetivo deste trabalho foi fazer um levantamento sobre a importância e atuação do farmacêutico clínico em Unidades de Terapia Intensiva Pediátricas (UTIP), analisando publicações de estudos dos últimos 10 anos. Foram analisados 06 artigos sobre a atuação do Farmacêutico em UTIP selecionados nas bases de dados LILACS, MEDLINE/PUBMED e SCIELO. Os artigos foram analisados com foco nos resultados e impactos da prática farmacêutica. Todos os artigos do estudo evidenciaram a importância e benefícios da presença do Farmacêutico atuando junto à equipe multiprofissional da UTIP, citando ganhos desde a prevenção de erros até a otimização da terapia. Concluiu-se que a presença do Farmacêutico atuando clinicamente em terapia intensiva pediátrica contribui para a segurança do paciente, sendo portanto, de grande importância.

Abstract:
The clinical practice of the pharmacist in hospitals has been expanding and showing positive results with the minimization of errors and assistance to the multiprofessional team. Therefore, the objective of this study was to make a data collection about the importance and performance of the clinical pharmacist in Pediatric Intensive Care Units (UTIP), analyzing publications of studies of the last 10 years. Six articles were analyzed on the performance of the Pharmacist in UTIP selected in the LILACS, MEDLINE / PUBMED and SCIELO databases. The articles were analyzed with focus on the results and impacts of the pharmaceutical practice. All the articles of the study showed the importance and benefits of having the Pharmacist working with the multiprofessional team of the UTIP, citing the profits which range from the prevention of errors to the optimization of therapy. It was concluded that the presence of the Pharmacist acting clinically in pediatric intensive care contributes to the patient's safety and thereat being of great importance.
