ATUAÇÃO DO ENFERMEIRO NA PREVENÇÃO DE LESÕES POR PRESSÃO NA UTI: Revisão integrativa de literatura.
A lesão por pressão é considerada
um grave problema de saúde, a incidência dessa
patologia vem aumentando devido a maior
expectativa de vida da população, tornando-se
fundamental a investigação, acompanhamento
e assistência. Objetivo: de avaliar as
evidências disponíveis na literatura sobre a
atuação do enfermeiro na prevenção de lesões
por pressão na unidade de terapia intensiva.
Metodologia: Foi realizada uma revisão
integrativa da literatura, buscando nas bases de
dados MEDLINE, BDENF, LILACS e SCIELO
as evidências cientificas sobre a atuação do
enfermeiro na prevenção de lesão por pressão
na unidade de terapia intensiva no período de
2013 a 2018. Resultados: Foram encontrados
15 artigos que correspondiam aos critérios de
inclusão deste estudo o qual 09 foram da base
de dados BDENF, 03 da base de dados LILACS
e 03 da base de dados SCIELO, na base de
dados MEDLINE não foram encontrados artigos
que correspondessem aos critérios de inclusão
desta pesquisa. Conclusão: Os enfermeiros
têm grande importância na prevenção da
lesão por pressão, com bom conhecimento,
entretanto se faz necessário maior investimento
em educação continuada.

Abstract:
Pressure injury is considered a serious health problem, the incidence of
this pathology has been increasing due to the longer life expectancy of the population,
making investigation, follow-up and care critical. Objective: to evaluate the available
evidence in the literature on the role of nurses in the prevention of pressure injuries in
the intensive care unit. Methodology: An integrative review of the literature was carried
out, searching the MEDLINE, BDENF, LILACS and SCIELO databases for the scientific
evidence on the nurse's role in the prevention of pressure injury in the intensive care unit
from 2013 to 2018. Results: We found 15 articles that met the inclusion criteria of this
study, of which 09 were from the database BDENF, 03 from the LILACS database and
03 from the SCIELO database, in the MEDLINE database there were no articles found
that corresponded to the criteria inclusion of this research. Conclusion: Nurses have
great importance in the prevention of pressure injury, with good knowledge, however, it
is necessary to invest more in continuing education.
