ATIVIDADES PRÁTICAS POR MEIO DO USO DE ANIMAIS EXPERIMENTAIS, NO ENSINO DE FARMACOLOGIA HUMANA NO CURSO DE ENFERMAGEM: RELATO DE UMA EXPERIÊNCIA
As disciplinas com prática em laboratório são fundamentais no projeto pedagógico (PPC), dos cursos em áreas de ciências biológicas e de saúde. Isso porquê permite ao graduando relacionar teoria e prática, ampliando a visão e consolidação acerca dos assuntos. O objetivo deste trabalho é expor as experiências das aulas práticas com uso de animais na disciplina Farmacologia e compartilhar às diferentes áreas que tais experimentações permitem nortear os estudos. Trata-se de um relato de experiência sobre atividades realizadas com alunos de Enfermagem da UNEMAT do Campus Francisco Ferreira Mendes de Diamantino-MT. Inicialmente, foram realizadas aulas teóricas e discussões sobre a temática entre docente e acadêmicos, definições de parâmetros e mensuração, teste da glicose I.P., aplicação do anestésico pela via I.P. e a observação da temperatura corporal. Realizou-se diversos experimentos com ratas em estado de jejum, alimentado e em dieta específica. Seguidamente verificou-se peso, temperatura corporal e glicemia do animal em estado de jejum e alimentado, realizados a administração de glicose, aplicação de analgésico labina ad libitum (administração intraperitoneal). O resultado demonstrou que a via intraperitoneal é um metabolismo rápido, sem prejuízo de metabolização hepática, entretanto a dose-resposta é inferior quando comparada ao animal que recebeu dieta e sofreu todo o metabolismo de absorção, distribuição, biotransformação e excreção, expressando resultado menor que dieta por via oral. O fator que mais chamou a atenção foi a desorientação do animal e incapacidade de apoiar sobre as patas. No último experimento realizado com ratos alimentados e de jejum, foi observado que a temperatura corporal dos animais diminuíram, mostrando-se que o a cauda é extremamente relevante para a temperatura corporal dos mesmos. O presente relato de experiência, mostra que as aulas práticas no laboratório trazem consigo um enorme aprendizado, provocando estímulo para buscar informações sobre os mais diversos fármacos e efeitos farmacológicos.

Abstract:
Disciplines with laboratory practice are fundamental in the pedagogical project (PPC), of courses in areas of biological and health sciences. This is because it allows the undergraduate to relate theory and practice, expanding the view and consolidation about the subjects. The objective of this work is to expose the experiences of practical classes with the use of animals in the pharmacology discipline and to share the different areas that such experiments allow to guide the studies. This is an experience report about activities performed with nursing students of UNEMAT of the Francisco Ferreira Mendes Campus of Diamantino-MT. Initially, theoretical classes and discussions were held on the theme between professors and academics, definitions of parameters and measurement, glucose test I.P., application of the anesthetic via the I.P. route and the observation of body temperature. Several experiments were carried out with rats in a fasting state, fed and in a specific diet. Then, weight, body temperature and blood glucose of the animal were fasted and fed, and glucose administration was performed, application of analgesic labina ad libitum (intraperitoneal administration). The result showed that the intraperitoneal route is a fast metabolism, without prejudice to hepatic metabolization, however the dose-response is lower when compared to the animal that received diet and suffered all the metabolism of absorption, distribution, biotransformation and excretion, expressing less result than oral diet. The factor that caught the most attention was the disorientation of the animal and inability to support on the paws. In the last experiment carried out with rats fed and fasting, it was observed that the body temperature of the animals decreased, showing that the tail is extremely relevant for their body temperature. The present experience report shows that the practical classes in the laboratory bring with them a huge learning, provoking stimulus to seek information about the most diverse drugs and pharmacological effects.
