ATIVIDADES DE EDUCAÇÃO ALIMENTAR E NUTRICIONAL NO ÂMBITO DO PROGRAMA NACIONAL DE ALIMENTAÇÃO ESCOLAR (PNAE) NO RIO GRANDE DO NORTE
Introdução: No âmbito do Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar, a Educação Alimentar e Nutricional representa o conjunto de ações formativas, de prática contínua e permanente, transdisciplinar, intersetorial e multiprofissional, que objetiva estimular a adoção voluntária de práticas e escolhas alimentares saudáveis que colaborem para a aprendizagem, o estado de saúde do escolar e a qualidade de vida do indivíduo. Objetivo: identificar e caracterizar as ações de EAN executadas na esfera do PNAE no estado do Rio Grande do Norte, e analisar se executam o que é proposto na Resolução FNDE nº26/2013. Métodos: Estudo quantitativo e de caráter descritivo, desenvolvido a partir da análise de questionários aplicados por agentes do CECANE/UFRN durante visitas às entidades executoras (EEx’s) de 16 municípios do Rio Grande do Norte, no período de março a novembro de 2018. Resultados: Foi observado que 5 entidades executoras dos municípios não realizavam as ações de Educação Alimentar e Nutricional (EAN) nas escolas; outras 5 não conseguiam realizar em todas as escolas as atividades que abordam a alimentação e nutrição; e somente um município não possuía nutricionista Responsável Técnico (RT) e não realizava ações de educação alimentar e nutricional. Conclusão: As atividades desenvolvidas não abrangem todas as escolas das EEX’s e com a ausência de RTs em alguns municípios, mostram falhas na execução das atividades privando o aluno do seu direito de ter acesso a EAN e descumprindo o preconizado na legislação. Assim, o estudo traz à luz a necessidade de um maior esforço em equipe entre os profissionais do PNAE, no cumprimento do preconizado pela legislação de forma integral.

Abstract:
: Within the scope of the National School Feeding Program, Food and Nutrition Education represents the set of training actions, of continuous and permanent practice, transdisciplinary, intersectoral and multiprofessional, which aims to encourage the voluntary adoption of healthy food practices and choices that collaborate for learning , the student's health status and the individual's quality of life. Objective: identify and characterize the EAN actions performed in the sphere of the PNAE in the state of Rio Grande do Norte and analyze whether they execute what is proposed in Resolution FNDE nº26/2013. Methods: Quantitative and descriptive study, developed from the analysis of questionnaires applied by CECANE / UFRN agents during visits to executing entities (EEx’s) from 16 counties in Rio Grande do Norte, from March to November 2018. Results: It was observed that 5 executing entities in the municipalities did not carry out Food and Nutrition Education (EAN) actions in schools; another 5 were unable to carry out activities that address food and nutrition in all schools; and only one municipality did not have a Technical Responsible Nutritionist (RT) and did not carry out food and nutrition education actions. Conclusion: The activities carried out do not cover all schools in the EEX’s and with the absence of RTs in some counties, they show flaws in the execution of the activities depriving the student of their right to have access to EAN and not complying with the legislation. Thus, the study brings to light the need for greater team effort among PNAE professionals, in full compliance with the legislation.
