ATENDIMENTO A UMA PUÉRPERA COM MASTITE LACTACIONAL: RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
O aleitamento materno exclusivo é essencial à criança nos seis primeiros
meses de vida, e fundamental para uma nutrição adequada além de ser preconizado
como o alimento ideal nessa fase da vida, de forma a garantir um desenvolvimento
saudável. Alguns fatores podem influenciar na amamentação, a saber: crença na
produção insuficiente de leite, pega incorreta da mama, intercorrências com o
neonato e intercorrências mamárias, entre elas a mastite. A mastite lactacional
caracteriza-se como um processo inflamatório das mamas, na sua grande maioria
unilateral, podendo ser acompanhado por infecção. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo,
do tipo relato de experiência, de um caso de mastite lactacional, realizado nos meses
de março e abril 2017. A paciente tinha 29 anos, vivia em união estável com
companheiro e cursou o Ensino Superior. O atendimento compreendeu três
encontros de acompanhamento. No primeiro a paciente queixava-se de dor em
mama esquerda durante a amamentação e apresentava sinais flogísticos, sendo
orientada sobre aleitamento em livre demanda, ajustes quanto à pega e posição
correta, utilização de compressas mornas e frias. Na segunda visita apresentava
sinais clínicos de mastite e recebeu prescrição de Penicilina Benzatina 1.200.00 UI
via intramuscular. Na terceira visita apresentava abscesso em mama esquerda,
quando foi realizada drenagem cirúrgica e paciente foi acompanhada até a alta. Os
profissionais de saúde, em especial o enfermeiro são os principais responsáveis pela
promoção do aleitamento materno, pela sua manutenção e pela prevenção de
agravos durante sua prática.

Abstract:
Exclusive breastfeeding is essential to the child for the first six months of
life, and fundamental to a proper nutrition as being advocated as the ideal food in
this phase of life, to ensure a healthy development. Some factors may influence on
breastfeeding, namely: belief in insufficient production of breast milk, incorrect
handle, complications with the neonate and breast intercurrences, including mastitis.
Mastitis characterized as an inflammatory process of the breasts, in the vast majority
of your one-sided, and may be accompanied by infection. This is a descriptive study,
like case studies, a case of mastitis held in March and April 2017. The patient had
29 years, lived in stable with fellow and attended higher education. The attendance
comprised three follow-up meetings. At first the patient complained of pain in left
breast during breastfeeding and phlogistic showed signs, being oriented on
breastfeeding on demand, as the handle and correct position, use of warm and cold
compresses. On the second visit presented clinical signs of mastitis and received
prescription of penicillin Benzathine 1.200.00 UI intramuscular injection. On the third
visit featured in left breast abscess, when was held surgical drainage and patient was
accompanied to the high. Health professionals, especially nurses are mainly
responsible for the promotion of breastfeeding, by your maintenance and the
prevention of diseases during your practice.
