Abstract: Introduction: Primary Health Care (PHC) can contribute to comprehensive healthcare for elderly women. This contribution is made through actions carried out by healthcare professionals, aiming to reduce the impacts of aging. Additionally, nursing consultations enable qualified listening and guidance, empowering elderly women with increased autonomy and improved quality of life. Objective: This study aims to analyze the available evidence in the literature concerning nursing care for elderly women in Primary Health Care. Methodology: This is an integrative literature review, with the search conducted on the Regional Portal of the Virtual Health Library in July 2022. The study includes three articles. Results: Nursing care was highlighted for older women with comorbidities, continuous use of medications, polypharmacy, depressive symptoms, and decreased cognition. These factors can make these women more vulnerable and require specific care to meet their health needs. Conclusion: Providing more qualified and compassionate nursing care to elderly women will have a positive impact on their health and well-being. Furthermore, these initiatives will serve as a strong foundation for improving public health policies focused on the elderly population, aiming for healthier aging and better quality of life.
