ASPECTOS PSICOSSOMÁTICOS DA IMAGEM CORPORAL DE PACIENTES TRANSPLANTADOS RENAIS – UMA REVISÃO DE LITERATURA
O processo de adoecimento traz
consigo muitas consequências à vida de uma
pessoa, especialmente quando se trata de
adoecimento crônico, pois este indivíduo precisa
reformular sua vida diante da constatação
do caráter permanente de cuidados que irá
requerer para uma manutenção da qualidade
de vida mínima. A doença renal crônica (DRC),
por exemplo, é uma enfermidade que ocasiona
sérios comprometimentos físicos, psicológicos
e socioeconômicos ao paciente. Nestes casos
o transplante é visto como a melhor opção para
melhora da qualidade de vida do sujeito. Para
o paciente, o transplante representa muito mais
do que a implantação do órgão de outrem, mas
de mudanças dentro de seu próprio corpo,
gerando anseios, angústias e fantasias quanto
ao procedimento. Este trabalho tem como
objetivo uma revisão da literatura visando
compreender as formas como o transplante
renal atua na percepção de pacientes sobre
sua imagem corporal. Utilizou-se de artigos
buscados em bancos de dados da internet,
como Scielo, Bireme e Lilacs, bem como livros
sobre a temática. Percebe-se, a partir deste
estudo, que o transplante não representa
apenas a natureza biológica do tratamento, mas
traz consigo fantasias – com relação ao órgão
recebido e ao futuro –, mudanças na percepção
do próprio corpo, nas relações sociais e no
modo de compreender a vida. Faz-se então
necessário um olhar multidisciplinar, pois com
o transplante renal, o indivíduo ressignifica sua
vida, englobando sua esfera somática, psíquica
e social.

Abstract:
The disease process brings with
it many consequences to life, especially when
it is a chronic illness, because the person
needs to reformulate his life when realize the
permanent care that will require maintenance to
have a minimum quality of life. Chronic Kidney
Disease (CKD), for example, is an illness which
causes serious physical, psychological and
socioeconomic commitments to the patient. In
these cases the transplant is considered the
best option for improving the quality of life to the
person. For the patient, the transplant is much
more than the deployment of another’s body,
but changes within your own body, causing
cravings, anxieties and fantasies about the
procedure. This work aims at an in-depth study through literature review to understand
the ways that renal transplantation acts in the perception of patients about their body
image. It was used articles in databases of the Internet, as Scielo, Bireme and Lilacs,
as well as books about the subject. From this study it is understood that the transplant
is not only the biological nature of the treatment, but brings with it fantasies – about
the received organ and the future –, changes in the perception of the body, in social
relations and in the way the patients understand the life. So, we can conclude with
this that is necessary a multidisciplinary look to the kidney transplantation, because it
makes the patients reframe their lives, encompassing its somatic, psychic and social
sphere.
