AS VIVÊNCIAS DE UMA CRIANÇA COM DISLEXIA NOS ANOS 70
Este texto tem como objetivo refletir sobre as dificuldades enfrentadas durante o processo de alfabetização. Tal reflexão foi realizada a partir da análise de uma entrevista com Diana, uma mulher, hoje adulta que contou sua vivência no início da escolarização. Percebeu-se que apesar da vivência relatada ter ocorrido no fim da década de 70, os métodos de alfabetização e a formas de ensinar pouco se modificaram. A análise da entrevista se deu pelo método construtivo interpretativo. Foi possível inferir que o método de alfabetização utilizado pelas professoras de Diana foi o método fônico, o qual, ainda prevalece como forma de alfabetização. Contudo, a partir do relato da Diana e das leituras realizadas, percebe-se que tal modelo não atende às especificidades dos estudantes com dislexia. Desse modo, os professores devem considerar também outros métodos de alfabetização para atender à diversidade de seus alunos.

Abstract:
This paper aims to reflect on the difficulties faced during the alphabetization process. This is done by the analysis of an interview with Diana, a nowadays adult woman who told her experience in the beginning of her alphabetization. It shows that, although the related experience happened in the end of the seventies, the alphabetization and teaching methods have changed little. The interview was analyzed using the constructive interpretive method. It was possible to infer that the alphabetization method employed by Diana’s teachers was the phonical method, which is still prevalent. From her report and reviewed literature, however, one may conclude that such model does not suit the specificities of the students with dyslexia. Therefore, the teachers should also consider other alphabetization methods to accommodate the diversity of their students.
