AS POLÍTICAS AFIRMATIVAS PARA OS INDÍGENAS NA EDUCAÇÃO SUPERIOR NO MUNICÍPIO DE DOURADOS - MS
O presente trabalho tem o intuito
de analisar as ações afirmativas voltadas para
os acadêmicos indígenas nas instituições de
ensino superior na cidade de Dourados. Para
isso buscou-se analisar as próprias instituições
de ensino, órgãos governamentais como a
Fundação Nacional do Índio e organismos não
governamentais (Fundação Ford – Projeto Rede
de Saberes) que desenvolvem projetos voltados
para apoiar a permanência dos indígenas no
ensino superior. Para a realização da pesquisa
adotamos a pesquisa bibliográfica e análise
documental. Verificou-se que a maioria das
ações afirmativas em curso atendem de forma
pontual as demandas da população indígena.
Todavia a articulação com as políticas de
afirmação identitária e cultural são necessárias
para a permanência

Abstract:
This article aims to analyze
affirmative actions directed at indigenous
academics in higher education institutions in the
city of Dourados. In order to do so, we sought
to analyze the teaching institutions themselves,
government agencies such as the National
Indian Foundation and non-governmental
organizations (Ford Foundation - Rede
Saberes Project) that develop projects aimed at
supporting the permanence of indigenous people
in higher education. For the accomplishment of
the research we adopted the bibliographical
research and documentary analysis. It was
verified that the majority of the affirmative actions
in progress meet punctually the demands of the
indigenous population. However, articulation
with cultural identity and affirmation policies are
necessary for permanence.
