O presente trabalho pretende analisar, principalmente, de acordo com os conceitos teóricos de Perry Nodelman, apresentados em seu livro Words About Pictures, e os de Rudolph Arnheim, presentes em Art and Visual Perception: A Psychology of the Creative Eye, ilustrações presentes no livro ilustrado Hulk: a origem do gigante verde, e relacionar com seu suporte original: as histórias em quadrinhos.

Abstract:
The present work intends to analyze, mainly, according to the theoretical concepts of Perry Nodelman, presented in his book Words About Pictures, and those of Rudolph Arnheim, present in Art and Visual Perception: A Psychology of the Creative Eye, the illustrations present in the illustrated book The Incredible Hulk: An Origin Story, and relate them to their original support: the comic books.
