AS DIFICULDADES DOS ACADÊMICOS NOS CURSOS DE ENGENHARIA, LICENCIATURA EM QUÍMICA E SISTEMAS DE INFORMAÇÃO NA DISCIPLINA DE CÁLCULO, NO TURNO NOTURNO DE UMA INSTITUIÇÃO DE ENSINO SUPERIOR NA CIDADE DE MANAUS
Este projeto consiste na descrição de uma pesquisa realizada com os discentes do turno noturno e docentes de uma instituição de ensino superior na cidade de Manaus, com o objetivo de compreender a relação das dificuldades dos acadêmicos inseridos nos cursos de: Engenharias, Licenciatura em Química e Sistemas de Informação, tendo como base as disciplinas de cálculo e as metodologias aplicadas durante o ensino da disciplina nessa instituição. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de campo com abordagens quantitativas, levando em consideração a quantidade de discentes que cursam essas disciplinas, onde foi realizada a coleta de dados através de avaliações com assuntos da matriz curricular desses cursos. Já, de maneira qualitativa, foram realizadas entrevistas com esses discentes através da aplicação de um questionário socioeconômico avaliando: o histórico da sua formação, a relação trabalho e estudo, as dificuldades de entendimento dos assuntos de cálculo. Além de entender as estratégias utilizadas, a fim de assimilarem os assuntos abordados que envolvem cálculos em diversas disciplinas durante o curso. Nas entrevistas realizadas, os docentes foram parte integrante dessa pesquisa, onde foram coletados dados com informações sobre as perspectivas dos mesmos, para com esses discentes, na compreensão das dificuldades dessas disciplinas, bem como as suas estratégias e métodos de forma a melhorar a condição de ensino-aprendizado em sala de aula. E os resultados obtidos, indicam não somente ausência dessa abordagem de tópicos de Matemática, mas, a limitada ausência de conceitos básicos que acabam sendo obstáculos na trajetória acadêmica desses futuros profissionais.

Abstract:
The project consists in the accomplishment of a series of works aimed at the teaching of night and teacher of a higher education institution in the city of Manaus, with the objective of understanding the difficulties of the students enrolled in the courses of Engineering, Degree in Chemistry and Systems. of information in the disciplines of calculation and as methodologies applied during the teaching of the discipline in that institution. It is a field research with quantitative measures, taking into account the number of discourses that study the disciplines, where a data collection was carried out through tests with subjects of the curricular matrix for these courses. Already, in a qualitative way, the interviews were given to students through the application of a socioeconomic questionnaire: the history of their education, the relationship between work and study, the difficulties in understanding the subjects of calculation. In addition to understanding the strategies used, in order to assimilate the subjects covered that involve calculations in various disciplines during the course. In the interviews carried out, teachers were an integral part of this research, where data were collected with information about their perspectives, towards these students, in understanding the difficulties of these disciplines, as well as their strategies and methods in order to improve the condition of teaching-learning in the classroom. And the results obtained, indicate not only the absence of this approach to Mathematics topics, but the limited absence of basic concepts that end up being obstacles in the academic trajectory of these future professionals.
