AS ATRIBUIÇÕESDO COORDENADOR PEDAGÓGICO NO CONTEXTO DAS ESCOLAS PÚBLICAS MUNICIPAIS DO ARACATI/CE: do ideal ao possível.
Este trabalho faz referência à
atual função do coordenador pedagógico das
escolas da Educação Básica e problematiza,
de modo especial, o trabalho desse profissional
nas escolas do município de Aracati/CE. Partese
da seguinte indagação: os coordenadores
pedagógicos das escolas municipais de Aracati/
CE têm consciência da sua função e agem de
acordo como determina os pressupostos dessa
função? Tem como objetivo principal avaliar
o trabalho desse profissional nas escolas
municipais do município supracitado a fim de
averiguar como agem e se o seu trabalho está
de acordo com os pressupostos defendidos
para essa função na atualidade. Trata-se de
uma pesquisa qualitativa de caráter bibliográfico
e documental, fundamentada em autores que
se debruçam sobre essa temática, a exemplo
de Placco (2003), Almeida (2003),Christov
(2007), Libâneo (2004), dentre outros. É
também um estudo de caso que usou como
procedimentos metodológicos, questionários
semiestruturados, depoimentos e observações
na prática educativa. Constatou-se que além
da maioria não terem recebido adequadamente
uma formação para a função que exercem, o
trabalho desse profissional se confunde com
atividades que tangenciam as suas principais
atribuições o que levou ao entendimento que se
faz urgente regatar o papel desse profissional
por meio de ações coordenadas e articuladas
por meio de políticas públicas de formação
continuada.

Abstract:
This work refers to the current
role of the pedagogical coordinator of the Basic
Education schools and problematizes, in a
special way, the work of this professional in the
schools of the municipality of Aracati / CE. The
following question arises: Are the pedagogical
coordinators of the municipal schools of Aracati
/ CE aware of their role and act in accordance
with the presupposition of this function? Its
main objective is to evaluate the work of this
professional in the municipal schools of the aforementioned municipality in order to
find out how they act and if their work is in accordance with the assumptions defended
for this function at the present time. It is a qualitative research of a bibliographical
and documentary character, based on authors who study this theme, such as Placco
(2003), Almeida (2003), Christov (2007), Libâneo (2004), among others. It is also a
case study that used as methodological procedures, semi-structured questionnaires,
statements and observations in educational practice. It was found that in addition to
the majority did not receive adequate training for the function they perform, the work
of this professional is confused with activities that tune their main attributions, which
led to the understanding that it is urgent to regroup the role of this professional through
coordinated actions and articulated through public policies of continuous training.
