ARQUIVOLOGIA E CIÊNCIA DA INFORMAÇÃO: ASPECTOS EPISTEMOLÓGICOS, INTERDISCIPLINARES E CONSTRUÇÃO CIENTÍFICA
O presente trabalho visa analisar a Arquivologia e Ciência da Informação a partir da construção de uma disciplina numa grade curricular do curso de Arquivologia com abordagem epistemológica e histórica. A metodologia é exploratória a partir do levantamento de literatura de ambas as áreas do conhecimento. Os contextos científico, tecnológico, social e cultural do surgimento, constituição e desenvolvimento dessas áreas. Conceitos e abordagens de informação e a especificidades da informação nos arquivos. Tecnologias da Inteligência: A Escrita, a Imprensa, as Tecnologias da Informação e da Comunicação; Diferenças e semelhanças da Arquivologia, a Biblioteconomia, e a Museologia; Comparação entre Arquivos, Bibliotecas, Museus e Centros de Documentação ; Fundamentos e Princípios da Arquivologia; Princípios, Características, Objeto(s), Objetivos, Metodologias das funções da Arquivística; Interdisciplinaridade na Arquivologia ; Epistemologia e História da Bibliografia, da Documentação e da Ciência da Informação; Diferentes correntes de pensamento em Ciência da Informação; Interdisciplinaridade na Ciência da Informação; Produção Científica Contemporânea da Arquivologia: no Brasil e no exterior, Abordagem dos Princípios e características da Arquivologia. Abordagens atuais da CI: Teoria Matemática da Informação, Teoria Crítica ou Social da Informação, Teoria Sistêmica, Teoria da Organização do Conhecimento: Classificação e Representação da Informação; Teoria Cognitiva, e demais correntes de pensamento da CI. A Ciência da Informação no Brasil: ensino, pesquisa, processo evolutivo e tendências atuais. Como resultados os estudos, pesquisas e produção científica nas relações interdisciplinares da Ciência da Informação especialmente no que se refere à Arquivologia.

Abstract:
The present work aims to analyze Archivology and Information Science from the construction of a discipline in a curriculum of the Archivology course with an epistemological and historical approach. The methodology is exploratory based on a survey of literature from both areas of knowledge. The scientific, technological, social and cultural contexts of the emergence, constitution and development of these areas. Information concepts and approaches and the specifics of information in archives. Intelligence Technologies: Writing, Press, Information and Communication Technologies; Differences and similarities of Archival Science, Library Science, and Museology; Comparison between Archives, Libraries, Museums and Documentation Centers ; Fundamentals and Principles of Archival Science; Principles, Characteristics, Object(s), Objectives, Methodologies of Archival functions; Interdisciplinarity in Archives; Epistemology and History of Bibliography, Documentation and Information Science; Different currents of thought in Information Science; Interdisciplinarity in Information Science; Contemporary Scientific Production of Archival Science: in Brazil and abroad Approach to the Principles and Characteristics of Archival Science. Current approaches to IC: Mathematical Information Theory, Critical or Social Theory of Information, Systemic Theory, Theory of Knowledge Organization: Classification and Representation of Information; Cognitive Theory, and other currents of thought in IC. Information Science in Brazil: teaching, research, evolutionary process and current trends. As a result of the studies, researches and scientific production in the interdisciplinary relations of Information Science, especially with regard to Archivology.
