Abstract: In this research, the application of a load cell calibrated with Arduino Uno to carry out resistance tests on concrete beams is explored, aiming to improve the precision and efficiency of structural analyses. The structured cabling assembly of the test tool was carried out with a diamond circuit, Wheatstone bridge, allowing the measurement of alternating electrical resistance. The Arduino Uno is then used to record voltage readings and convert this data into load values, allowing real-time monitoring. However, this equipment only has eight bits. Therefore, to convert this value to 24 and reduce the relative percentage error (ERP), an HX711 amplifier converter module is used, combined with a display and buttons for analog reading of digital information. Experimental validation was carried out with a shear force beam rupture test, with weighing and maximum load value on the manual press. This approach offers measurement precision and allows real-time data collection, proving to be a useful tool for civil engineers, researchers and contractors who wish to evaluate the structural integrity of concrete beams. In subsequent research work, cost analysis and comparison between the conventional calibration process and the proposed approach can be carried out.
