APLICABILIDADE DE GEOSSINTÉTICOS EM OBRAS DE ENGENHARIA
A utilização de materiais geossintéticos tem sido cada vez mais constante em obras de geotecnia, tanto por sua versatilidade, quanto pelas vantagens estruturais e econômicas que trazem consigo. Os geossintéticos são amplamente utilizados na execução de obras de terra, sistemas de drenagem e filtragem e em obras de pavimentação. Cada tipo de aplicação exige um geossintético específico que atenda aos requisitos necessários para a execução segura das obras. Sendo assim, é possível concluir que esses materiais são extremamente úteis, e que sua correta aplicação possibilita a agilidade de conclusão de obras comuns e também uma maior segurança na construção de obras mais complexas.

Abstract:
The use of geosynthetic materials has been more common in Geotechnical Engineering due to its versatility and the structural and economical advantages that provide. Geosynthetics are widely used in the execution of Earth Works, draining and filtration systems and paving works. Each type of application demands a different type of geosynthetic that must meet the correct requirements to the safe execution of the works. At the end of this research, it was confirmed that these materials are extremely useful and its correct utilization provides more agility in common works and a greater degree of safety for the construction of more complex works.
