ANTICONCEPCIONAIS HORMONAIS E SEUS EFEITOS NO ORGANISMO FEMININO

Introdução: O anticoncepcional hormonal é o método mais utilizado, atualmente, para evitar uma gravidez indesejada, no entanto, se faz necessário uma avaliação dos riscos e benefícios antes de iniciar sua utilização. Objetivo: Analisar os benefícios e os riscos para a saúde da mulher, e a importância do acompanhamento profissional. Metodologia: Tratou-se de uma revisão bibliográfica, com pesquisa na base de dados do Google acadêmico no ano de 2024, foi analisado artigos publicados a partir de 2021. O método de inclusão foi artigos que falavam dos efeitos dos anticoncepcionais no organismo feminino. Resultados: Foram selecionados 7 artigos nas etapas de buscas. A coleta de dados permitiu identificar informações importantes, para uma análise crítica e aprofundada do tema. Conclusão: Diante do que foi investigado observou que os anticoncepcionais hormonais quando prescrito e acompanhando por profissionais da saúde podem trazer grandes benefícios a saúde da mulher, no entanto, a falta de acompanhamento pode trazer prejuízos à saúde feminina.

  • Abstract: Introduction: Hormonal contraceptives are currently the most widely used method to prevent unwanted pregnancies; however, an evaluation of risks and benefits is necessary before starting their use. Objective: To analyze the health benefits and risks for women, as well as the importance of professional monitoring. Methodology: This was a literature review, with research conducted in the Google Scholar database in 2024, analyzing articles published from 2021 onward. The inclusion criteria were articles that referred to the effects of contraceptives on the female body. Results: Seven articles were selected during the search stages. The data collection allowed for the identification of important information for a critical and in-depth analysis of the topic. Conclusion: Based on the investigation, it was observed that hormonal contraceptives, when prescribed and monitored by health professionals, can bring significant benefits to women's health; however, lack of monitoring can lead to negative health outcomes for women.
