ANGIOEDEMA HEREDITÁRIO: CASUÍSTICA DE UM AMBULATÓRIO UNIVERSITÁRIO DE ALERGIA E IMUNOLOGIA NO SUL DO BRASIL
Objetivo: relatar o alto índice de diagnósticos de angioedema hereditário (AEH) no Ambulatório de Alergia e Imunologia da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade Federal de Pelotas, com o objetivo de difundir informação acerca desta doença ao clínico. Método: as informações foram obtidas por meio de revisão de prontuário e a discussão a partir da leitura da bibliografia encontrada acerca deste assunto. Resultados: foram relatadas as condições clínicas de oito pacientes com diagnóstico de AEH. Discussão: por ser uma doença subdiagnosticada, muitos pacientes passam por procedimentos desnecessários e não têm a causa de sintomas alérgicos elucidada durante toda a vida. Considerações Finais: é importante a disseminação da clínica desta doença para que se aumente as taxas de diagnóstico, o que contribui para a saúde pública.

Abstract:
Objective: to report the high rate of diagnoses of hereditary angioedema (HAE) at the Allergy and Immunology Outpatient Clinic of the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Pelotas, in order to disseminate information about this disease to the clinician. Method: the information was written by reviewing medical records and the discussion was based on reading the bibliography found on this subject. Results: the clinical conditions of eight patients diagnosed with HAE were reported. Discussion: as it is an underdiagnosed disease, many patients undergo unnecessary procedures and do not have the cause of allergic symptoms elucidated throughout their lives. Final Considerations: it is important for the dissemination of the clinic of this disease so that it increases as diagnostic rates, which contributes to public health.
