ANÁLISE DO AUMENTO DAS INTERNAÇÕES POR SARAMPO E DIMINUIÇÃO DA COBERTURA VACINAL NO PERÍODO DE 2010 A 2019 NO BRASIL.
O sarampo é uma doença viral muito contagiosa que afeta principalmente crianças e pode causar graves problemas de saúde, incluindo diarreia intensa, otite, perda da visão, pneumonia e encefalite. Em todo o mundo, o sarampo continua sendo uma das principais causas de morte entre crianças pequenas, apesar de haver uma vacina, não existe tratamento antiviral específico para o vírus do sarampo. Em 2017 houve 110 mil mortes por sarampo no mundo, principalmente entre crianças com menos de cinco anos de idade. O objetivo foi análisar epidemiologia do sarampo e o crescente numero de internações no periodo de 2010 a 2019 e descresente cobertura vacinal. Foi realizado um estudo observacional e descritivo, cujos dados foram coletados da plataforma DATASUS, por meio do Sistema de Informações Hospitalares do SUS (SIH/SUS) e informações sobre imunizações. No presente estudo foram registrados 2.221 internações durante o período,gerando um gasto ao sus de 73.613,60,media de 6 dias de internação. Sendo a maioria entre 1-4 anos de idade, do sexo masculino, da raça parda e havendo predomínio de internações na região norte. Portanto, o sarampo trata-se de um vírus de ampla distribuição mundial, com sua incidência, evolução clínica e letalidade aparentemente influenciadas pelo estado nutricional e imunitário dos pacientes sendo a maior prevalência do sarampo na infância e sendo prevenida com vacina. Por isso é extremamente importante o conhecimento sobre as formas de prevenção e a epidemiologia atual, assim como estudos sobre seu comportamento.

Abstract:
Measles is a very contagious viral disease that mainly affects children and can cause serious health problems, including severe diarrhea, ear infections, vision loss, pneumonia and encephalitis. Worldwide, measles remains a leading cause of death among young children, although there is a vaccine, there is no specific antiviral treatment for the measles virus. In 2017, there were 110,000 measles deaths worldwide, mostly among children under five years of age. The objective was to analyze the epidemiology of measles and the increasing number of hospitalizations in the period from 2010 to 2019 and decreasing vaccination coverage. An observational and descriptive study was carried out, whose data were collected from the DATASUS platform, through the SUS Hospital Information System (SIH/SUS) and information on immunizations. In the present study, 2,221 hospitalizations were recorded during the period, generating an expense to the SUS of 73,613.60, an average of 6 days of hospitalization. Most of them are between 1-4 years old, male, of mixed race and with a predominance of hospitalizations in the northern region. Therefore, measles is a virus of wide distribution worldwide, with its incidence, clinical evolution and lethality apparently influenced by the nutritional and immune status of patients, with the highest prevalence of measles in childhood and being prevented with vaccine. For this reason, it is extremely important to know the forms of prevention and the current epidemiology, as well as studies on its behavior.
