ADOLESCENTES COM HIV/AIDS: REVELAÇÃO DA DOENÇA, ACEITAÇÃO, ADESÃO AO TRATAMENTO E PAPEL DO ENFERMEIRO
HIV/AIDS significa Síndrome
da Imunodeficiência Adquirida. Quando o
indivíduo é infectado pelo vírus do HIV/AIDS
o sistema imunológico é atacado dando
início a destruição dos glóbulos brancos
responsáveis pela defesa do organismo. Assim,
o organimo fica desprotegido e várias doenças
oportunistas podem aparecer, complicando a
saúde do indivíduo. Dentre os soropositivos
diagnosticados na atualidade, temos um grupo
grande composto por adolescentes. Esses
jovens enfrentam no seu dia-a-dia inúmeras
lutas, não só contra a própria doença, mas
principalmente com o estigma que essa doença
traz consigo, que é o preconceito desde os
próprios familiares até a sociedade em si. O
desafio desses jovens começa desde seu
diangnóstico até a adesão e continuidade do
tratamento.

Abstract:
HIV / AIDS stands for Acquired
Immunodeficiency Syndrome. When the
individual is infected by the HIV / AIDS virus,
the immune system is attacked, initiating
the destruction of the white blood cells
responsible for the defense of the organism.
Thus, the organism becomes unprotected and
several opportunistic diseases may appear,
complicating the health of the individual. Among
the seropositives diagnosed today, we have
a large group of adolescents. These young
people face in their daily lives innumerable
struggles, not only against their own illness,
but especially with the stigma that this disease
brings with it, which is the prejudice from the
relatives themselves to the society itself. The
challenge of these young people begins from
their diagnosis until adherence and continuity of
treatment.
