Abstract: The study addresses adherence to prenatal care by adolescents, focusing on the impact of education level. The general objective of the research is to analyze how schooling influences the participation of adolescents in prenatal consultations. To achieve this objective, a bibliographic approach was used, where information was collected on the education of pregnant adolescents and their frequency in prenatal consultations. The results highlight that schooling plays a significant role in adherence to prenatal care among adolescents. Those with a higher level of education tend to participate more regularly in consultations, demonstrating greater awareness of the care needed during pregnancy. On the other hand, adolescents with less schooling may face barriers in accessing information and health services. In conclusion, the study highlights the importance of differentiated approaches to promote adherence to prenatal care by adolescents, considering their level of education. Targeted educational strategies and the strengthening of support systems can contribute to improving the participation of young pregnant women in antenatal consultations, resulting in better health outcomes for both them and their babies
