Abstract: The developed project “Teddy bear, our little friend!” arose from the telling of the story “Camila and the return to school” by the author Aline de Pétigny, proposed at the beginning of the school year, for back to school. The children's story was designed precisely for the return to face-to-face classes, the school adaptation period is very delicate for both children and their families, parents and guardians, who tend to feel a certain insecurity and anxiety when leaving the little ones in the care of other people. In view of this, each day a child was randomly selected by a colleague to take the teddy bear from the story home, and so the children were motivated to take care of the teddy bear, taking it home, inserting it into the family routine, recording these unique moments. and the next day returning to school and telling classmates about the teddy bear visit. The children felt safer and more confident in the reference room, communicating more, building affective bonds with their classmates due to their proximity to the teddy bear.
