AÇÕES GERENCIAIS E ASSISTENCIAIS DO ENFERMEIRO EM UMA UNIDADE DE TERAPIA INTENSIVA
Esse trabalho objetiva analisar a atuação gerencial e assistencial do enfermeiro em uma Unidade de Terapia Intensiva, com base na literatura. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura realizada na Literatura Latino Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde e na Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online. Utilizando a combinação de descritores: Intensive Care Units, nursing, Management e Nursing care. Esses termos foram combinados entre si afim de realizar as buscas. Nos resultados foi evidenciado que os estudos foram publicados em periódicos nacionais específicas na área da enfermagem, apenas dois países foram apontados no estudo, Brasil (90%) e Finlândia (10%) e a discussão foi estruturada por meio de duas categorias: relevância do enfermeiro na UTI; Funções assistenciais do enfermeiro; Funções gerenciais do enfermeiro na UTI. Conclui-se que o enfermeiro tem papel fundamental tanto no desempenho das atividades assistenciais quanto gerenciais, ele constitui parte fundamental da estrutura organizacional hospitalar em especial na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva,

Abstract:
This objective work analyzes the managerial and care performance of nurses in an Intensive Care Unit, based on the literature. It is an integrative literature review carried out in Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences and in the Online Medical Literature Analysis and Recovery System. Using a combination of descriptors: Intensive Care Units, nursing, Administration and Nursing Care. These terms were combined with each other to perform as searches. The results showed the studies published in specific national journals in the field of nursing, only two countries were mentioned in the study, Brazil (90%) and Finland (10%) and the discussion was structured through two categories: relative to the nurse in ITU; Nursing care functions; Managerial functions of nurses in the ICU. Conclude that nurses have a fundamental role both in the performance of care and management activities, as a fundamental part of the hospital organizational structure, especially in the Intensive Care Unit.
