ABRINDO PORTAS - INGLÊS PARA TODOS: ENSINO DE INGLÊS COMO FERRAMENTA DE EXTENSÃO E DESENVOLVIMENTO PROFISSIONAL DO ESTUDANTE UNIVERSITÁRIO.
O projeto Abrindo Portas - Inglês para todos é um projeto de extensão que tem como objetivo ministrar oficinas de inglês gratuitas para alunos do ensino médio de escolas públicas da região de Cornélio Procópio. O projeto também pretende estimular a interação entre universidade e comunidade externa promovendo impacto positivo e transformação da realidade social da região, assim como contribuir com a formação profissional e cidadã dos voluntários envolvidos. Durante um ano, o projeto ofereceu oficinas de inglês ministradas com material próprio, organizou eventos abertos à comunidade, criou e divulgou vídeos sobre tópicos da língua inglesa e realizou oficinas de capacitação para a equipe de voluntários. Dessa forma, a equipe, conseguiu atingir os objetivos de levar conhecimentos de inglês a estudantes de ensino médio com oficinas presenciais, interagir com a sociedade e desenvolver e capacitar os estudantes que forma a equipe.

Abstract:
Abrindo Portas – Inglês para todos is an extension project that aims to provide free English workshops to high school students from public schools in the Cornélio Procópio region. The project also intends to stimulate the interaction between the university and the community promoting positive impact and transformation of the social reality of the region and contributing to the professional and citizen training of the volunteers involved. For a year, the project offered English workshops taught with its own material, organized events open to the community, created, and disseminated videos about topics in the English language, and held training workshops for the team of volunteers. In this way, the team was able to achieve the objectives of bringing English knowledge to high school students with face-to-face workshops, interacting with society, and developing and training the students that make up the team.
