ABORDAGEM DOS ACADÊMICOS DE ENFERMAGEM A GESTANTES E PUÉRPERAS REFERENTE À HIGIENE E CUIDADOS DO COTO UMBILICAL: RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
O cordão umbilical é constituído de uma fina camada que recobre um tecido conectivo onde estão presentes duas artérias e uma veia, através delas o feto recebe os nutrientes essenciais na gestação. Após o nascimento ele é cortado da placenta e a partir deste momento não receberá mais oxigênio entrando num processo de mumificação, passando a ser chamado coto umbilical. Este estudo objetivou descrever experiência vivenciada durante uma atividade educativa relacionada a orientações aos cuidados com o coto umbilical a puérperas e gestantes que estavam hospitalizadas ou aguardando atendimento, totalizando aproximadamente 10 pacientes. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo do tipo relato de experiência realizado na Unidade de Alojamento Conjunto no hospital materno infantil de Cacoal-RO, resultante de uma atividade pratica das disciplinas de G.O e pediatria. A ação foi desenvolvida por acadêmicos do 8º período do curso de Enfermagem, onde foi realizada abordagem com as puérperas e gestantes presentes, através de orientações individuais, com entrega de folders educativos e esclarecimento de dúvidas, na ação foi abordado o que é o coto umbilical, cuidados com o coto umbilical, higiene do coto e esclarecido mitos e verdades, os resultados demonstraram que o trabalho desenvolvido proporcionou esclarecer inúmeras dúvidas das gestantes e puérperas, podendo prevenir infecções e agravos à saúde do recém-nascido. Salienta-se a importância da atenção individualizada, do reforço das orientações e do empenho do enfermeiro na promoção do cuidado com o RN, promovendo a promoção de conhecimento entre as gestantes, a fim de preparar as mães tecnicamente para o cuidado correto do coto umbilical do bebê após a alta hospitalar.

Abstract:
The umbilical cord consists of a thin layer that covers a connective tissue where two arteries and a vein are present, through which the fetus receives essential nutrients during pregnancy. This study aimed to describe the experience lived during an educational activity related to guidelines for the care of the umbilical stump to postpartum women and pregnant women who were hospitalized or awaiting care, totaling approximately 10 patients. This is a descriptive study of the type of experience report carried out at the Joint Housing Unit in the children's maternal hospital in Cacoal-RO, resulting from a practical activity in the disciplines of OG and pediatrics. The action was developed by academics from the 8th period of the Nursing course, where an approach was made with the mothers and pregnant women present, through individual guidance, with the delivery of educational folders and clarification of doubts. In the action, what is the umbilical stump is addressed , care with the umbilical stump, hygiene of the stump and clarified myths and truths, the results showed that the work developed provided clarification for countless doubts of pregnant women and puerperal women, being able to prevent infections and health problems of the newborn. The importance of individualized attention, reinforcement of guidelines and nurses' efforts in promoting care for the newborn is emphasized, promoting the promotion of knowledge among pregnant women, in order to prepare mothers technically for the correct care of the umbilical stump of the baby. baby after hospital discharge.
