A VIVÊNCIA DO ACADÊMICO DE ENFERMAGEM NA REALIZAÇÃO DO EXAME CITOPATOLÓGICO: UMA ABORDAGEM FENOMENOLÓGICA
O câncer é hoje uma das maiores
causas de morte na população mundial. O
exame citopatológico é um método simples
onde permite detectar possíveis alterações
do colo uterino, onde se constitui até hoje o
método mais indicado para o rastreamento
de forma precoce do câncer de colo de útero.
Objetiva-se identificar os sentimentos que os
Acadêmicos de Enfermagem em campo de
Estágio Supervisionado sentem ao praticar o
exame citopatológico. Trata-se de um estudo
qualitativo com abordagem fenomenológica,
que ocorreu na Clínica Escola da Faculdade
de Ensino e Cultura do Ceará, no período
de março a outubro de 2014. A população foi
composta por 16 acadêmicos de enfermagem
e a coleta de dados foi baseada na técnica do
discurso coletivo. Utilizando-se os conceitos
da fenomenologia interpretativa e existencial
para a análise dos dados. Constatou-se que o
acadêmico de enfermagem que acompanha as
mulheres na realização do exame citopatológico
deve possuir atributos como: empatia, calor
humano, simplicidade, capacidade de ouvir,
transmitindo, assim, segurança às usuárias,
colocando-se dessa forma no lugar dessas
pessoas. O futuro profissional deve estar atento,
para uma melhor qualidade do atendimento,
às queixas, às dúvidas e às ansiedades,
desenvolvendo assim uma capacidade de
interação em relação aos aspectos emocionais
da paciente. Pretende-se que que este estudo
contribua para o conhecimento dos sentimentos
dos Acadêmicos de Enfermagem na realização
do exame citopatológico em seus primeiros
contatos com a paciente e a prática, permitindo
ainda realizar modificações ou aprimorando conhecimentos e condutas.

Abstract:
Cancer is today one of the leading causes of death in the world population.
The cytopathological examination is a simple method to detect possible changes in
the cervix, which is still the best method for early screening of cervical cancer. The
objective is to identify the feelings that Nursing Academics in the Supervised Internship
field feel when practicing the cytopathological exam. This is a qualitative study with
phenomenological approach, which took place at the School Clinic of the Faculty
of Education and Culture of Ceará, from March to October 2014. The population
consisted of 16 nursing students and data collection was based on in the technique of
collective discourse. Using the concepts of interpretive and existential phenomenology
for data analysis. It was found that the nursing student who accompanies women in
performing the cytopathological examination must have attributes such as: empathy,
warmth, simplicity, ability to listen, thus transmitting safety to users, thus placing
themselves in their place. The future professional should be aware, for a better quality
of care, complaints, doubts and anxieties, thus developing an ability to interact with the
patient's emotional aspects. It is intended that this study contributes to the knowledge
of the feelings of nursing students in performing the cytopathological examination in
their first contacts with the patient and practice, allowing further changes or improving
knowledge and behavior.
