Abstract: The rapid evolution of technology requires companies to adapt and adopt digital transformation as a strategy for competitiveness to remain operational. The issue goes beyond technology: it is necessary for the organization to have a culture focused on innovation. This research explores the importance of digital transformation as a strategy for innovation in business modeling, capable of contributing to the success and sustainability of businesses, especially in the post-pandemic context. Based on a literature review of renowned authors in the field, as well as a case study of the use of a chatbot tool by the startup Vira Tech, it is possible to confirm the relevance of digital transformation for innovation, competitive advantage, and business sustainability. The study demonstrates how innovative solutions, even simple ones, can generate positive results for companies of all sizes in a constantly changing context. Therefore, digital transformation is essential for companies to prepare for future challenges, stand out from the competition, and thrive in an increasingly competitive market.
